The Universal Tension Rail was designed and developed to perform with almost any screen deck system made, including tensioned urethane screens, tensioned rubber screens, tensioned woven wire screens and tensioned plate sections.
Specifically, this product was developed in conjunction with our RhinoGrid™ screening system to maximize capacity and efficiency.
The Universal Tension Rails are made of ¼”A-36 steel with either 5/8” or 1” thick Rhino Hyde urethane on the wear and impact surfaces. The bolt holes are recessed into the rail and are equipped with plugs for a smooth surface. These sturdy side rails stand up to abrasion and impact in both wet and dry environments.
The Universal Tension Rails can be made up to 6 feet long with variable hole spacing to accommodate any length. Standard holes are 2-1/16” diameter counterbore, with 3/4” square through hole.
The thick Rhino Hyde Universal Tension Rail, with its unique hook design, eliminates the gap that occurs between the normal tension rail and the first row of openings of the screen section. This prevents excess fines from travelling down the over-burden area. By keeping your fines and rock in the open area of the screen, you get more efficient and accurate sizing.
