Tandem Completes Successful Test of a Rhino Hyde Paddle Mixer Liner
| The testing
was done at a major block manufacturer in Colorado. The test mixer was a
single shaft Besser Paddle Mixer. The production manager got many
complaints from the mixer operators concerning labor intensive clean up
and fast wear on the steel wear plates.
WE were encouraged by the success of the Rhino Hyde liners designed for Pan Mixers. A modified liner was installed on the charge end of mixer. After six months of intensive use, the liner showed no visible wear. Operators reported that cleaning was a breeze. The block manufacturer ordered liner for two sections of the mixer. Tandem will offer paddle mixer liners to users on its test marketing program. The liner comes with a "no loose" warranty.
