RHINOX (tm) TROWELLABLE CERAMIC WEAR COMPAUND

FAST SET K-215 WITH CERAMIC CHIPS

FAST SET K-215 is a two-component, ceramic chip-filled epoxy wear compound specifically designed to RESIST ABRASIVE WEAR in chutes, spouts, hoppers, elbows, cyclones, flop gates, fans, pneumatic systems and other high wear areas. The K-215 wear compounds have been formulated to give the user a shourt cure time so the equipment or substrate being lined or repaired can be put back into service in a shorter period of time compared to the standard wear compaunds available. (The higher the air temperature and the higher the temperature of the surface to which it is being applied, the faster the cure.)

The K-215 wear compound is filled with CERAMIC CHIPS, not beads. The irregular shape of the ceramic chips form a much tighter matrix than the beads, thereby giving a more homogenous epoxy/ceramic wear surface. There is less chance of the epoxy to wear out around the chips versus the beaded type.

Not only recommended for repairs and patching, FAST SET K-215 can be used alone as a lining (in place of ceramic tile). The K-215 trowellable ceramic wear compounds can be easily applied to curved and overhead surfaces (as opposed to using ceramic tiles which may be difficult to cut and piece in the same application).
