"Rhino Bolts"

Rhino Hyde urethane capped bolts, or “RhinoBolts” as we call them, are designed for use with Rhino Hyde urethane lining systems.

There are 3 profiles available for use in many applications. Use the universal counterbore tool for easy bolt installation (see reverse side).

Counter Bore Tool

Rhino Hyde urethane liners have saved those who use this product millions of dollars in maintenance costs due to the abrasion resistance and increased wear-life Rhino Hyde has provided them. Because in most applications the steel bolts wear out before the liners, Tandem Products has developed Rhino Hyde Urethane Capped bolts (RhinoBolts) to significantly extend the life of the bolts and the liner.

A counterbore tool has also been specifically designed for the installation of these bolts. The Rhino Hyde capped bolts will outperform regular elevator and carriage bolts by many times. The bolts, when countersunk into the sheets, lie even with the top surface which prevents turbulence in material flow. This tapered head design seals the counterbore hole so no corrosive liquids can eat away the bolt head and bolt threads. When tightening the bolt from the back of the chute, the Rhino Hyde capped bolt does not spin in place due to this unique tapered design.

This universal counterbore tool enables the installer to make a 3/8” diameter drill through hole and a 1-1/2” diameter counterbore hole. The depth of the counterbore is adjustable.
