RhinoWireTM
Technical Information
RhinoWire™ has been proven to outlast wire in most applications by 4 – 6 times. Product is performing in both wet and dry applications with exceptional results including top decks running dry granite and quartzite. RhinoWire™ is 5/16 to 5/8” thick and this along with tapered openings allows RhinoWire™ to run very clean in terms of plugging and blinding. For ease of installation, RhinoWire™ is shrouded exactly the same as a typical wire screen
Screen feed; Product should not be dropped directly from a conveyor onto the RhinoWire™ feed screen. If there is direct impact on the feed screen, a solid impact area is required.
RhinoWire™ is available with center hold-downs, the opening size and location must be specified when the screen is ordered. J-bolts are only required if they were also utilized on existing wire screens.
The open area of RhinoWire™ has been engineered to approximate wire. Following is a table listing the open area and thickness of RhinoWire™ screens;
